After last year’s phenomenal success, the long awaited 2nd Belgrade Startup Weekend is here. Last event created 14 companies and there were even those that received funding afterwards.

Get ready for a weekend of meeting new people, exchanging ideas, building teams, sharing and collaborating on the next big thing!

That is what the 2nd Belgrade Startup Weekend is all about!

We give you everything you need, great venue, awesome food & drinks and most importantly, experienced coaches to answer all your questions no matter how simple or difficult they are.

We’re also packing several nice prizes for the winners – that is, the best startup ideas as seen by our judges, among which are participation in one of the greatest educational programme for entrepreneurs, Ceed Programme, tickets for Belgrade Venture Forum and FundraiseIT conference and opportunity to pitch their startups in front of investors at Startit Fest and every team will get three books Lean Startup by Eric Reis in Serbian and free mail marketing services from Moosend.

Slobodan Đinović is one of the pioneers of the wireless Internet market in Serbia and founded Media Works in 2000, which became one of the leading alternative Internet service providers in Serbia. Media Works built the first WiMax network and launched wireless Internet services in 2004. In 2010 Media Works merged with two other large ISPs, Sezampro and Neobee.net to create what is known today as Orion Telecom, the second national fixed phone operator and leading alternative telecommunications provider in Serbia.

Vuk Guberinić

Vuk Guberinić holds an MBA degree from St. John’s University. He started his career in the United States where he worked in financial sector, and then ventured into business development of a London startup called Surikati Ltd. In Orion telekom Vuk worked as a business analyst and now runs international sales development for software company PSC Mobile Solutions. Vuk has been active in the establishment and development of the Serbian Private Equity Association (SPEA) where he held a position of Executive Director for two years.
